ummm if you worker is illegal then you are already breaking the law. So if you dont pay minimum wage who cares because you are already screwed if the gov finds out. If the government finds out you have hired illegals, they won't care if you were paying them the minimum wage. You will get a fine and maybe jail time because it is against the law to employ them.

They are doing manual labor favors for you, and you are providing them with a gift since they have no job to get by on.
It's really quite simple. That way, you are not responsible to check their work-status, let alone have to follow labor laws in regards to their employment (which does not exist).
Since their only illegal immigrants according to the law, why not use that law to argue the opposite - and win!
If you give large campaign contributions to your state senator and representatives, hire a lobbyist, etc., you will get away with breaking the immigration and employment laws. This is how large corporations are getting away with this in our country.
If you are filing income taxes for a business, the IRS will look to see how much you've paid in employment withholding and for who. If the employment withholding is really low, that'll trigger an audit. If you have bad social security numbers on your employees, that'll trigger an audit. IRS agents will visit you. They'll invite INS along. You'll get all sorts of penalities and maybe even jail time.
Since anyway you have violated the law (by employing illegals), you might as well break another and save some money. There is no way the govt can find out, unless they receive a tip off.
Who cares what you think is fair or not. What you are doing is not fair…. first of all you should at least consider other people around you. People came here to make a better living not to be treated like slaves and get paid nothing for their hard work. How would you like it if they did that to you and your family? Second what you are doing can get reported then you will be screwed. You won’t have any workers, lose business and you would have to pay up. And STOP being so Dam Cheap...

The gov. doesn't care, so whatever you do, please be careful because if and when you get the new jag ..it might be keyed and loused up. You might want to put another string of barbed wire around that palacial home of yours as well, and hire new armed guards with more powerful pay loads on their weapons.
