Most likely local government and states will raise their taxes to off set the actual income. So the actual 2.25 per hour will be taken out of your taxes. Also, companies will most likely cut back on funding and support program for their employees as they have to pay them more. Add to that income goes up, so do all the prices of goods in stores, because people are making more, they can pay more for it.
It really wasn't a good idea and is going to hurt middle and lower class workers in the long run. Especially if people get laid off to make up for the income that has to be paid out.
Did you know that the vast majority of employers was against this raise? They said that if they have to pay that amount it would hurt the business. Its good to see that the raise takes effect and I know that there are going to be more antis wanting more illegals to be here to keep the cost down.

Here in Arizona the average hourly pay for an
illegal is about $7. to $10...That's for a day labor worker,that is paid in cash..Ive never heard of anyone paying $ 3 an hour.Many are hired by the job and not by the hour.
