Remember all those marches with illegals parading our American streets DEMANDING residency while carrying Mexican flags? I have known plenty of illegal Mexicans and 90% of them are loyal to Mexico and often bad mouth the US. Now there is nothing wrong with loving your home country, but as my mother says "If your stomach is here, then your heart should be too."
In other words, if you're here surviving and eating because your American job, then you should also show some respect, loyalty, and love to the US. Any thoughts?

Yes, i know exactly what you are talking about. There is nothing wrong with being proud of your heritage, but I hate it when illegals put down the USA. They are lucky our government doesn't aggressively enforce the current law.
I agree with you but remember that all those idiots you see protesting with Mexican flags are not even real Mexicans. They are Mexican Americans and unfortunately, you can't deport them. I would gladly take an illegal Mexican if we can send back a cholo Mexican American. They make all Latinos look bad..

There is a movement to populate the border states and make them part of mexico. That is why they bring their flag and have no intention of becoming Americans.

The myth of Aztlan can best be explained by California's Santa Barbara School District's Chicano Studies textbook, "The Mexican American Heritage" by East Los Angeles high school teacher Carlos Jimenez. On page 84 there is a redrawn map of Mexico and the United States, showing Mexico with a full one-third more territory, all of it taken back from the United States. On page 107, it says "Latinos are now realizing that the power to control Aztlan may once again be in their hands."
Shown are the "repatriated" eight or nine states including Colorado, California, Arizona, Texas, Utah, New Mexico, Oregon and parts of Washington. According to the school text, Mexico is supposed to regain these territories as they rightly belong to the "mythical" homeland of Aztlan. On page 86, it says "...a free-trade agreement...promises...if Mexico is to allow the U.S. to invest in Mexico...then Mexico should...be allowed to freely export...Mexican labor. Obviously this would mean a re-evaluation of the border between the two countries as we know it today." Jimenez's Aztlan myth is further amplified at MEChA club meetings held at Santa Barbara Public Schools..
The book, paid for by American tax payers, cites no references or footnotes, leaving school children totally dependent on their teacher to separate fact from opinion and political propaganda. The book teaches separatism, victimization, nationalism, completely lacks patriotism towards the United States, and promotes an open border policy. The book is 100 percent editorial -- the opinions of the author.

Ignorance is the problem: Most hispanic immigants have very little education and what little they know about the US they learned from television, Televisa (a NYSE company) and TV Azteca). They receive bad, liberal and/or manipulated information form their own spanish-language media that is largely owned by American investors. Many immigrants are afraid of legalizing themselves and family because their media has filled them with lies (all American males are subject to being drafted into the military at just any moment) and they are too ignorant to know any better. The marches that you refer to were provoked by these media giants. Immigrants actually beleived that they could conduct themselves like they do in their home country and that it would somehow be productive. The ignorance!
