I know the number of illegal immigrants cannot be exact, but if anyone can find a reliable source and site either how many legal or illegal aliens there are in the US today, that would be great.

We will never know for sure. There are way too many of them. They WILL not come forward and pay a fine, then return home. They know once they are in the system they will never get out of it. If they do one crime they are out for good. As they have it now they can commit a crime, run back to Mexico, wait a while, and return by sneaking in again. What a joke!!
