did he get a tax pin# to do taxes? to show that he is doing his taxes
when you marry him and want to file a petition for him the ins forms are
www.uscis.gov
I-485 application to register permanent resident or adjust status
I-765 application for employment authorization document
I-130 petition for alien relative
I-864 affidavit of support
anything you summit in Spanish must be translated to English like his birth certificate
this form need to be summit ed after three to six months you will get a respond stating if he has been approve
next step is an appointment to get his fingerprints and pictures taken
wait another three to six months another later for you to make an appointment for him to get physical exam from a local doctor that is approve by the ins
another one to three months for a interview at your local ins sub station
the interview will be with an ins officer if your future husband does not speak or understand English you will need an interpreter or your ins officer will denied your case. you cannot translate for him because you will be with him during the interview don't be nervous they will request all the information from you both stated on the letter appointment date.
Why are you aiding and abetting an illegal alien?
You want the answer you won't like? have you boyfriend go back to mexico and fill out the paperwork to be a citizen.. then he wouldnt have to worry about it because the Matricula Consular is not a proper form of ID in america or mexico. if he loves you so much, tell him to be a citizen. if he wont, then you need to move to mexico with him, we dont need more illegals.
9 out of 10 marriages between a US Citizen and a foreigner end in divorce within 5 years (it takes about 2-3 years to get the foreigner a green card).
Why would you want to marry someone that has such low respect for the law that they would break it on aow that daily basis?
The officer should have called ICE and had him deported. If you go ahead with this plan, just remember that everytime he is late coming home it could mean that he has been picked up by ICE and is being deported. Think how that will affect your life! Never knowing when your family will be ripped apart!
Of course you will never know the real reason he married you. Was it because he loved you or was it solely to get a "Green Card?"
A good test is to tell him that you want to do it right. You want to marry him and move to Mexico until he can come legally.
Then listen to all the excuses that he makes not to go back home.
True love is true love in the USA or in Mexico, it doesn't matter where you are if you truly love each other.
Millions of people live and love in Mexico.
And when you go to visit the immigration lawyer, take plenty of money as they charge several thousand dollars.
Good luck and make good decisions!
Even if you did marry him at this point - he would still be deported.
Jeffery C - Great answer!!
You can have him enter a lotto-tThe diversity Visa Lottery Program is a good opportunity for potential immigrants to obtain the status as a permanent legal resident of the USA— providing 50,000 visas (Green Cards) to applicants randomly selected in a lottery process..
