We should cancel all foreign aid to Mexico untill they start helping us with the illegal invasion from their country. We can't support them here and there, we just can't do it.

Fred Thompson says if he decides to run for President and if he were to win, he'd put a stop to it. He's the only candidate/person I've heard make such a statement.
Of course a completely secure border is not realistic but, hey, if they would at least make an effort . . .

The US should demand the Mexican government start to improve conditions for their people. Mexico has the resources and wealth to do so.
It is ridiculous to send foreign aid when a nation is wealthy enough, but too stingy to respond to their citizens needs except for encouraging and abetting their exportation to another country.
The UN should bring pressure against Mexico for not addressing the needs of their people.
The US should say we are going to secure our border whether you like or it not. You are in no position to stop us.

I think for every illegal we catch in the US we should take a small portion of Mexican territory. I think we might own everything between the border and Mexico City. But then again they probably would want us to take it so it wouldn't be their problem.
We should stop all aid to Mexico until they take their nationals back. I don't believe we should be helping any country until we help ourselves. There are millions of LEGAL American citizens who are going hungry, out on the streets, needing health care. Why do we give to other countries and not fix our own problems?

THE UNITED STATES SHOULD STOP FOREIGN AID TO MEXICO.
It is a rich land with a rich government, so there is no reason to give them anything except to give them their nationals back.
Sanctioning Mexico would not do much good to have them try and prevent illegal crossings... The US can't afford to fully fund watching all of our own borders effectively.
It makes more sense to me for the US to put more pressure on the US based businesses who hire illegal immigrants. If there was no work here for an illegal they wouldn't bother coming. Not only would this help with the rate of illegals crossing but would help with Americans lossing jobs to illegals because the company can pay an illegal less money.
