why? how come the brew is doling out our hard earned and payed taxes and national insurance to supply these guys with cars? can a british national get this benifit as well? i've asked a few polish guys about this as well but the only answer they give me is WE HAVE TO UNDERSTAND THEY ARE HERE TO WOTK!! what the hell does that mean? are we not also working here as well!!

Hmmmmmmm............. seems this may be a common occurrence. A Somalian family who moved around the corner from me suddenly were driving round in a newish car. It stuck out like a sore thumb mainly coz the man couldn't park it and it looked like it was abandoned. News soon got out that he had brought it from a local dealer who had queried the payment as was in the form of a Giro cheque. When he rang to check it out he was told to accept payment and it was payment from the government for the car as 'the man had a right to work to support his family and the car was to enable him to get to and from work'. And they wonder why the racial hatred wont go away !!!!!!!!
I can't imagine them getting money from the DSS for a car! Unless they apply for an emergency grant or something and say they are going to use it to buy emergency items and instead of doing so buy your car. Remember the majority of EU nationals moving to the UK are here to work...I read that 1,000 or so have applied to work in the PSNI so far.
I know, it's the weirdest thing ever. I want them to buy me a car too!

The economic environment we have here is very good and there is a very advantageous benefit system. The Eastern European economy is dire after years of communism and civil war. To do their best for their family, alot of the younger people are coming over here, to work and earn as much money as they can to send back to them.
Right or wrong I don't know, but that's what's happening!
Well a heap of Polish and other crappy EU places people have inveded this country and get all these benefits and council housing really easily. Really pisses me off. UK nationals get f all, but change your name to Olga or something, get a polish passport and you are sorted.
Friend of mine runs a driving school.On his books he has got 6 immigrant learner drivers.The Government is paying for all lessons,driving test and their 1st car.Reason?They feel that if they have to use public transport they may be persecuted and have problems.We must be the laughing stock of Europe.
I don't think you can claim a benefit solely to buy a car, where ever you have come from.
On the other hand, as you say, the benefit people and the ones who make the rules are so generous with our money it would not surprise me!
You have not missed anything, what is happening around us all is crazy and the longer we put up with it the harder it will be to stop it.
P.S. love the Irish "brew office", never heard that before. As you probably know it is (or was) the dole office here in England.
yes apparently you could go to the brew and say you need a car to get to work. if you dont get it you should be able to sue them under human rights for discrimination. its as bad as being able to claim child allowance for kids living in another country

i tell you why it happens.is because the British are mug to put up with it.i lived in Holland/Germany/Belgium.and in all these country's.the migrants said they wanted to get to Britain because it was the land of milk and honey.but they were in a safe already.but they kept saying that in Britain they will get free house/money/and you can do what you want.and our women are slags.but it makes me want to cry when i see the British do nothing about it.and yes you can get free cars if you are a immigrants.just come to southwark in London and pick up a leaflet at the council office.and they get much more on top.no wonder they are laughing at the British.

I dont see the government rushing to give me some cash? and I have worked and paid my taxes since before I was 16? come on give me a break here, all they do is take take take of me, never give me anything? You know what we should all say stuff em, stop paying our bills on mass, dont pay our morgates on mass (they cant evict the whole country) and refuse to pay council tax, fines, etc etc, draw all our cash from the banks... and then see who is laughing??? what a joke.... either that or get out of here and go to Spain or somewhere? what are we doing all this for working ourselves into early grave for what?
The only thing you and everyone else has missed is THE FACT that the government has invited these people in for one express purpose and that is cheap labour to carry out work that we would willingly do if they paid us a living wage. If they are on benefit they still pay VAT so the government receives a take.
In return, business is giving the Labour party millions and that is why the Trade Unions are no longer wanted by Blair and Co.
This is the reason why they are allowing our industries to close down so they can relocate to China (£17.00 p w income) and India, (£12.00 p w income) the imported goods are no cheaper it has all to do with profit and of course VAT that helps to fund the war in Iraq. "The great conspiracy".
But don't think it will change if you vote for the Tories or Liberals as the gravy train is too good to miss and is gaining speed.
You know, our governments and our industry are all going global on us, what if the middle/working classes of the western world went global and said we are not going to subsidize poverty level wages by employers out of public services we pay for?

I have heard stories like this before - and I like you could hardly believe it. To be honest I wonder why any of us bother working - as we just seem to keep getting slaps in the face - increases in rail fares, council tax, interest rates on mortgages. You can see why a lot of lazy Brits feel able to justify not bothering and I do not condone them by any means - but you do feel like the government are just throwing our hard earned taxes in the wrong directions - and cars are not regarded as subsistence - I'd regard a car as a luxury so why is the dole office buying cars for claimants? This is something we should email our MP's with asking them why and how this is happening.
What I want to know is if I give up my job will the dole office pay for me to have a car because I won't be able to afford the rail fares and TFL transport fares in London - oh no I forgot if you are on the dole in London that is something else you get free!!

All that I can say is that the Brits are so thick and gullible in this country. The UK and the US must be the worst countries for immigrants sponging off our taxes to be here in the beginning. Don't you think someone on here should setup an online petition to the Government demanding something should be done about it. What is going to happen about our children being raised up in their own country for work when they are older enough. I am glad that I am on the way out instead of the way in. Immigration will take over the US and UK in the end, you can see what is going to happen. Enoch Powell was right on every word he spoke, he sated close the door now before it is too late.

This happens all the time, the government claim that it is cheaper to supply immigrants with money for a car than free travel. Why they should get either I don't know!!!! Apparently it helps them to travel to work, what a joke, it costs me a fortune to travel on public transport.
Nothing new ! The well off coutries have the better economy as immigration helps not hinders. It is when it is the other way round that you should get worried!! In reality you are gaining.
