Does anyone know if a fund has been setup for the Ramos and Compean families ?
Answer:
Border Patrol Agents Ramos and Compean Relief Fund
P.O Box 47208
Tampa Fla 33647
Att: Richard F Pierce.
I donated a while back and received a nice letter back.
unfortunately they had only collected $81,000.00 from more than 1200 donors. $78,000.00 had been distributed to the agents or to their attorneys.
The letter states that any remaining funds on hand or received in the future will be sent to the agents and their families.
I'm in for another hundy how about you? How about the rest of you?
Here is another link with contact info:

Uuhhh , yea send the money to me and I'll make sure they get their share. C/O P.O. Box 777, Jackpot, USA 77777.
Why don't you contact the local paper? I believe it is The El Paso Times. If there is a fund set up, the paper should have received the information.
I would only donate money if I could give it to someone locally who would make sure 100 percent of my donation went to the families. What the families need to do is to establish a bank account where people can donate money directly to a designated account.
no, hopefully a fund is set up.
Zoe,
You really should set one up. Form a non-profit entity and put up a web-site to collect funds with some guarantee that every dime will go to the families of these tragically used heroes. Not to lawyers or anyone else. Not even any salaries or overhead (a web-site is, what, like $10 a month?)
They're my kind of hero. Hispanics who insist that they are first American. Their families deserve all the help they can get.
Ohhh!! And, Crabby_BlindGuy!!! Did you know that approximately 25 U.S. Citizens a day die by acts of illegals and people born in the U.S. to illegals? I realize that most are probably here just for a better life and the crimes are done by the minority of them. But the only way to ensure accountability is to protect the border. Mexico protects its southern border in MUCH harsher ways than the U.S.
Did you know that most MinuteMen must take an oath to give water and other basic help to the unfortunate people they intercept? Victims of bad-governance and failed economies who should NOT be FORCED to leave their own homes just to survive?
I interviewed a number of these so-called "Vigilantes" (that word... it's like referring to all fence companies as "Violent Separatists"). Of those I interviewed, at least one of them had voluntarily taken classes on how to give first-aid for heat exhaustion. Yes, they send the people home. But could you please define, "HOME?"
Coyotes treat these people much worse than any MinuteMan ever did.
And,YES, over a third of some MinuteMan Organizations are also HISPANIC's who insist that they are first AMERICANS.

Yes. Check with the "G" man.
