How do I know if a job applicant is legal or not?

I am starting a buisness and want to stay legit. How do I protect myself from illegals.

I-9 required documentation. Tells you what idocuments are needed to be a legal employee
They have to show you a passport or ss card or a green card.
Call up the NIS or Social Security office with the applicant's number and they can tell you who that person is and if the information matches their records.
You just kind of guess.

Staying legit is for the stupid. Use the system to your advantage. First hire them, then if they don't a good job, fire them. Using this method you will have good employees without all the bitchiness associated with the American mentallity.
when the picture on the ID doesnt match the person.....or they'll claim 15 dependants or more on their W2
You can join the IMAGE program. Its free and it gives you access to the Social Security database and Homeland Security immigration records.
