Why do people Immigrate to America?
Can you give me many opinions?

Answer:
Because the United States is the best country in the world. Millions of people risk their lives for a chance to live here. That is not true of any other country.
Better life and more opportunities.
well because it is the best place on earth for one.. you can do or say almost anything.. and yes still today you can earn as much money as you can hold... in other countries.. you can not.. freedom.. people want it crave it.. and just because the liberals dont want it.. we are free
Easier for most to get here and it is still the best thing (living in America)that there is in this world .
It's where the streets are paved with gold.

Well, that used to be the "legend". Now it is just because they think their lives will be easier, and they will get rich simply by living here.
Some are refugees--they hardly have a choice.
Some seek work here to support themselves and families
Some actually think that our streets are paved with gold, and that everyone is rich and famous. They also think that we are free--hardly--we can't even exercise our First Amendment Right to free speech anymore.
Because america is the best country/nation in the world. WE have rights here that no one else any where in the world have! we take little things for granted that these people are dying for things as little as our clothing choice, how we raise our children to what religon we practice we in america even get a say in our government.. america is the best country on earth
There are a variety of "push" and "pull" factors. "Push" factors are what drives a person to want to leave his country; "pull" factors are what "pulls" an immigrant to a specific country.

Push factors - poverty, oppression, religious persecution

Pull factors - more economic opportunity, more freedoms
because that stupid people thinks that in its country dosnt have work but it has and they come to america to take our money
They come to America to be free and live a happy life. They come in hope to find a good job that will pay enough to support them and their family. They come to America to see what we have that they don't have in their own country.

It is sad to see that Immigrants come to America in hope of living the "American Dream" but really we have nothing! We are in debt, we have our criminals running free without punishment and we have a president that could give a damn about what happends. Immigrants think coming to the US will be better but in the long run we have our problems just like everyone else and we need to change it, if we are going to be the country that people are going to be looking up to.

If I was a immigrant and was looking to come to America I would say that it was a postive move, but since I am a citizen and have been living her it is the worst place to come to and live is not to much easier here than any place else. To put it into simple words America is not that its cracked up to be!!
Because a lot based their notion on what america is on movies. not on real news. I watched oprah discussing about americas school system problems for one. there are lots of schools in the whole america and only a few is considered the best...
People immigrate here because they think their life is going to be much better, and many cases it is. More oppurtunity and for other reasons. Certain people come here, and want to take over, and over populate this country by having all these children and they don't have any money.
Although illegal migration is a menace that undermines the country's laws, we should not forget that America is strong because her strenght comes from immigrants eversince its founding, her power comes from her unique diverse people who build it based on freedom and justice for all. That's one reason why people continue to immigrate in America.
It´s simple: to get a job, save money and send it to relatives who stayed back at home.
Our family came here because my dad wanted to study at Penn. University. We never expected to stay, but we're still here. If it were up to me, we wouldn't be living here. I don't think that America is the best place in the world, and I'd rather be in my home country. The education system is behind, there's a lot of political action, not to mention the gas prices are getting higher and nobody really knows why.
