For USA How long does it take for a legal/illegal immigrant to get his green card?

A married illegal will typically find themselves banned and will have to file for a waiver from outside of the country as I understand it. Legal immigrants take longer to petition if the spouse is a permanent resident than if the spouse is a citizen.

Try uscis.gov, but I am not sure if they will tell you dates. It varies in any event.
