Do Americans Hate ALL Mexicans?
We are not all bad u know...
I´ve seen a lot of people who hates mexicans around here and i believe that´s because most of the mexican immigrants are the poorest people here, so you´ve got the worst part of us, but we are not ALL like that. Some of us are in our own country working hard to try and get a better life, and it IS possible, it´s just that not everyone here has the same oportunities. We are just as human as you are.
BTW I live in México and I´m planning to stay here.

Um...no. It seems to me that people are using the "illegal" argument as a disguised excuse to be prejudiced against all Mexicans. And while I agree that immigration has to be regulated, I think Americans need to focus on their own moral problems instead of using the Mexicans as scapegoats for everything. And when you're prejudiced against all immigrants, you're biting the hand that feeds you.

Personally I have NO problem with LEGAL immigrants from any country but I have a huge problem with ILLEGAL immigrants period end of discussion.
No of course not. But the US is full of a lot of racists folks who don't understand that they too are the children of immigrants. I suppose people worry that the Mexicans will cheapen the labor market and make jobs harder to come by. This is not the fault of Mexicans though; it is the fault of the US government for not enforcing labor standards and for weakening labor unions.
I like Mexicans on both sides of the border. I do think Mexico and Mexicans would do themselves a favor by trying to decrease the birthrate there (which would drive up a demand for labor in Mexico) and by working to improve labor conditions there.
It's too bad you have gotten the impression that we hate Mexicans. We don't. It's the illegal immigrants we have a problem with although I think hate might be too strong of a word for it. No not all illegals are Mexicans but most in the US are from Mexico. We have a problem with them coming here and wanting us to change our ways to fit their needs. Many come here and commit vicious crimes. They are a drain on our economy, school system and courts. It's not the actual Mexican culture we don't like. I'm sure you are a very nice, hard working person who is doing the best you can to better yourself.
Hate is too strong a word but I do not discriminate in my "dislike"
for law breakers. It's the illegals that seem to have everybody's attention now. Black, white, tan, yellow, rich or poor....I just don't like people that don't play by the rules.
I don't think you are ALL like that but I do realize that the narrow minded among us tend to lump everybody of the same skin color/region in the same group. I'm white and from Mississippi.

Very, very few Americans "hate" Mexicans. It's only the ones with the biggest mouths -who complain about the immigrant situation, that you're hearing from all the time. Most of us here actually DO understand what your situation is there...-& try to help your people out the best we can when they come looking for work. It's just that when too many immigrants come over the border all at once- our people & resources get overwhelmed; and THAT causes resentment & problems. It's good that you want to stay and make a "go of it" in your own country. Perhaps someday when you are successfull & on vacation, - you can visit the U.S. and see how your countrymen made out. After all, we all were born in N. America- so that makes us ALL "Americans".

And, I do not hate them...I don't waste the energy on that. I use my energy writing my elected officials and sign all the petitions I can. Even if, in the end, it doesn't make a difference, I know that I tried!
We dont hate ALL mexicans. Its just that MANY mexicans in this country are routinely breaking are laws, and then turn around calling everyone racist. Naturally this makes a lot of people mad.
I know what you are saying. There are probably many nice Mexicans living in Mexico that see a problem with their government fixing their economic problems by breaking another's laws. Anyway, its just that in this country we only see the pochos (mex. am. that want to be super mexican) and illegals. I have nothing against Mexico or Mexicans, just many illegals and pochos in this country.
Where the heck does everyone keep getting that Americans hate Mexicans. What most of use hate are illegal immigrants, and most could care less what color they are, nor where they come from.
Glad your staying in Mexico, good for you, we just hate people that break the law and thumb their nose at our laws, and our customs and expect us to cater to them, and don't bother to learn our language. Some have been here for over 12 years and still can't speak a word of English and don't bother trying, and expect us to teach their children English, which cost us tax payers money.
I know several undocumented people/illegal aliens/whatever you want to call them and all of them have at least a decent grasp of the english language. Most of their children learn english and actually try to apply for college but a piece of paper they don't have limits their abilities to become professionals in anything. If the universal visa is given to us from heaven when we are born, why do we quarrel over a useless piece of paper?

Question for those of you who talk so loud about illegals do you know by looking who is illegal and who is not? Are you sure? I would be a rich woman if I were given a dollar each time that my husband or I had the word illegal thrown at us and other nasty terms and we are both US citizens.
I notice a lot of racism, however I hope there are still some conscientious people in the u.s. who do not discriminate. I think illegal immigrants should be givn amnesty though. illegal immigration is partly america's fault because of our own government's policies.
Basically what is happening here is that the illegal aliens are not paying for their way. Some people In the USA pay as much as 69% of their income in TAXES. Illegal aliens pay nothing in federal and state taxes.
Some Illegal Aliens are stealing peoples ID’s in order to work. It is a crime to do so and they are crying “foul” when arrested..
The Mexican population has increased in my area to where they are the majority now. Crime has now increased by an outstanding number, violent and nonviolent crime is way to high.
Americans just wish to be treated the SAME. And we are not. Many times illegal aliens, because they are illegal), are not charged with crimes and just deported. Many times they are not even arrested for crimes.
So no. We don’t HATE the Mexican people. We hate the way ILLEGAL Mexicans are coming here breaking our laws and getting away with it. Any American that did such things would be jailed and fined.

well the thing about mexicans is they cause so many problems here. they arent all the same, but they are really causing traffic, taxes, gang violence, rapes, and diasease. they also are very snobby people.

I don't hate anyone. I would like to see the ILLEGAL immigrants go home, WHERE EVER that is.
I have no trouble with LEGAL immigrants, from anywhere. And I do think that if you come here legally, from another country, with another language, you should try to learn English, if it is not your primary language. You will need to know it to get along with your neighbors, eventually.
