I believe that you are correct. Politicians are becoming more and more aware that people are getting tired of the same old tired comments with nothing addressed about the real problems that we have with our borders.
Believe it or not, I think that the recent case against the border agents did more to wake people up to the lack of justice that is found upon the borders of this country - and how it is even being manipulated against those that are attempting to enforce the law.
As more and more face the negative effects coming into their own neighborhood, more and more will start crying out for enforcement. Of that I have no doubt. The growing problems that have been brought about in education, education, the work place, hospitals - literally every aspect of life, more and more will start voicing disagreement for the lack of enforcement that we have seen to date.
I have known people that were once pro-illegal that have since changed that view because they finally experienced what many others before them have experienced. I don't see such changing.
Washington is starting to wake up to the call from those that elected them - and voted many of them out the last election. We just have to keep the focus on the issues and not allow any to sidetrack from the reality that the United States citizens deserve a secure border and enforcement of the law.
Strange that one has to fight for enforcement of the law, isn't it?
