How easy is it to move to the States??

Hi, I split up with my husband 2 years ago. He has always been disatisfied with his life and always a dreamer who thinks the grass is greener else where. He is in car sales and is always jumping from one job to another.....He told me 2 days ago he was going to Dallas and thats where he went with an hours notice. I have since found out he has gone over to find a job and is planning to move there! Problem is we have a 3 year old and I am so worried he is going to up and leave him. I have refused to go with him as I have my own life and a good job here in the uk. How easy will it be for him to actually make the move or find a company to vouch for him??
I really don't want my son to grow up without a father. xx

Answer:
If your husband wants to move to Dallas and leave his son, then forget him. He is a deadbeat.
Very hard to get a 'green card' to work legally! if you fancy being a bitc.h then report him to US immigrating. A friend of mine did this and the husband was arrested within hours!
Just cross the border and you will have more rights than the citizens who already live there.
Tricky, without a job - but you can't hold him back because of the child, that will just cause resentment, and he may even starting hating your son becuase of it. Better to accept the fact, get on with your lives, and maybe some day there'll be a new father for your son to come along.
without trying to be funny, it will be easier than taking candy from a baby. America has virtually lost all control of who can move there and become a citizen. Non Americans basically write the rules now and if he doesn't get in, all he has to do is sue the US government, and he will win. We just had a contest that stated open to all Legal US residents, an illegal US resident won, which you would think would be wrong, and when the company refused to pay them, the illegal sued and won the lawsuit. I pray for you and wish you luck, but america will greet him with open arms. The only thing to do which is bad is accuse him of a petty crime, and then you will have the support of the US. They will find him and send him back home, but without the criminal accusation, he is already an american. God Bless.
If this man is worthless enough to abandon his family now, he isn't worth pursuing across the Atlantic. Stay in Britain and find a better father for your son, because the guy in Dallas is nothing more than a sperm donor.
Getting across the big pond is the first step.
Just follow an illegal immigrant from Mexico. They sure seem to be able to get in with no problem!
Apparently it's not too hard. 8.5 million illegal immigrants can't be wrong.
Not near as easy as obtaining a visa and visiting here. Dont worry, it takes time to get any kind of citizenship. They will do back ground checks, etc. Perhaps time and distance will make him see the real meaning to living is the emotional investment we have in our children. I will pray for your son.
Well, LEGALLY he will have a tough time. Car salesmen are not typically considered a scarce category, over here.

How likely is he to try it illegally with fake documents?
