Will a school in Boston Mass. appoint a non-US citizen as a teacher and sponsor them for a Visa?

I know that employment based entry is one viable way of trying to get into the USA as a long-term or permanent resident, but I know that it can be expensive for the employer to sponsor the immigrant.

Also I know that there is a shortage of teachers in the USA on the whole and I'm qualified...

I just want to know if anyone has any thoughts or experience on this matter

Answer:
I don't know. We do need lots of teachers. Do you speak Spanish?
Probably not in this current climate, but I would suggest that should you apply, you seriously consider all your own personal details and the curriculum of the particular school there.
