How can the amnesty bill be legal when NO ONE HAS AS OF YET READ IT?

It is between 700 and 1000 pages long...how can this be legally when the senators don't even KNOW what they are voting for in the first place.

From what I hear the bill has extensive wording which is riddled with North American Union BS through out it. They are even trying to cast out the SUPREME COURT AUTHORITY in it and start using a formed PARLIAMENT created from Mexico, the USA and Canada in it!

Answer:
Well that's it, they made it so long so they can hide the real
effects of the bill and also to hide all the gaping loopholes, that's
why they're trying to push it through so fast, so they can make it law before anybody really knows what it's actually all about. That's the deal they made with that cardinal from LA and big
business and the Mexican government. That's what we get for making congress 85% lawyers.
all bills or soon to be laws are this way... no bill is less than a few thoudsand pages long.. for just that reason... but someone has read it.. most law makers have staff members that do nothing but that.

anyway., I am against anything that doesnt do at least this

They want to hurry and push it through without letting anyone really examine it. NO AMNESTY!!
Oh, senor . . . how come if no one has read it, all you rocket scientists here think you smart enough know what it says?
The bill is garbage and I am completely against it. It was written by a few select politicians along with some hispanic advancement groups in some secret back room. THere was no debate on it as of yet, and hopefully it will meet some forceful opposition during the debate on the bill tommorow.
Great question!!

It should get a lot of scrutiny and debates need happen before they get to vote on this bill.

The sound bites they have been released to the press are NOT enough and if it gets worse than what we already know, heaven help us.

Something is hinky in DC
If no one has read it, then how is anyone hearing the details?

This is a futile attempt to appease the American people and nothing more. They are also doing this so the agriculture industry doesn't pull all of their money from the parties they have invested into. It is the largest industry in the country, and they are the ones that will be most affected by any action against illegal immigration. They are trying to look like they are doing something but yet like they are working with the farmers of the nation.

All it is is a crock of crap! They are breaking laws! Why are we rewarding criminal behavior?
all they need to read is the amount on the check for campaign contributions from their corporate benefactors; they earned that money by keeping the spigot open for cheap illegal alien labor; politicians of both parties are for workers who can't sue for racial discrimination or sexual harassment, for workers who can be flim-flammed by the OSHA inspectors, for workers who could care less about a union; that's what they read, those bills are BS to those Senators and Congressmen; they have dozens and dozens of underlings to read that nonsense which they don't give a damn about
.OR illegal...
.
There is no way it will pass.GOP knows if it does the Republican party will be done for in 15 years.20+ mil. voters who 99.9% will vote democratic.
The vote was for the bill to be debated in the Senate starting this Monday. They were going to take their 3 day break to read what is proposed thus far. Keep in mind that Congress members are drawing up their own bill on it. But Senate members have already mentioned there are things in it they want changed. La RAZA thinks it's too harsh because they themselves don't understand that the illegals don't have to come up with the $5000.00 up front and immediately. Meaning if they would take that $5000.00 and divided by the next 8 to 13 years - it's a payout at that cost. But they are using that as their basis for the bill as being unfair to illegals and the Mexicans in Mexico, so they want it sticken from the bill as well as give complete and immediate amnesty to those who are already in the States.

Regardless of the wording in it - politicians are worried that their necks are on the line with Americans when it comes to the elections votes. We don't have 18 months to have us Americans heard - as some would like others to believe. That 18 months only applies to Michael Chertof (?) saying that's how soon he can get the border shored up and more ICE agents hired so the politicians can move forward with everything else about the proposed bill.

Bush needs a victory because of his deboggle of the Iraq war, and he wants to sign into law this bill by this summer. So he's pressing for these bills to happen soon. By Americans emailing and calling their politicians it is putting pressure on those whom we voted for, and put into office to not only speak for us, but work for us the American people, and protect Americans interest. Not the foreignors who do not have legal status here or really have no voice or opinion on American laws and policies. Especially by being here illegally.

Of course it has all those things in it to benefit Bush. It doesn't have anything to do with benefiting the American people at all. No matter how they try to present it and sell it to the Americans. Bush wants to sell it to us as a good deal for America, and Americans. So it is only a proposed bill thus far, and not a legal bill yet.

If the B*stard Bush wants to sell it to American citizens then he can start dishing out billions from all his personal, and off-shore bank accounts right into ours. Lindsey Graham, Edward Kennedy, Jon Kyl, Arlen Spector, Robert Menendez as well. Then that *sshole from SC (Lindsey Graham) can tell me to shut up about it. The Senators name I posted in here is Americans best chance to have us heard by sending emails and phone calls to his office and aids.
