How does a company go about sponsoring an illegal immigrant?
Answer:
Easy. Take the undocumented immigrant to the nearest U.S.Marshal's office and tell them he wants to get legal.
Thats the most outlandish idea...sponsoring crime??? I'm sorry you cannot understand the law.
there may be conditions where you can't apply for a work visa when already inside a country as would be an illegal but this is a minor requirement, as a company you can only sponsor him for a temp resident, from there he must apply for permanent residence.
to sponsor him i believe you just provide a letter stating he will work for you at a salary and include the companies contact info to verify this. He then gives this letter along with his other paperwork to the US embassy in his home country and prays they accept him. As he's already here he must leave the country and apply for a work visa from outside to enter.
of course, check with an immigration official, your company may need to meet certain requirements in order to import labor.
I think the illegal immigrant have to leave the country first and wait for the company to file all the proper papers.
Well in this country companies are not allowed to sponsor
" illegal " immigrants legally. However many companies still have illegal immigrants working for them by expoliting a loophole in the stystemby contracting the work through a third party
" Temporary Agency."
Back to your question. Companies can sponsor immigrants here legally however to gain residency. This is done by different forms of Visa's. For example if an individual came here on a Travel Visa which is 3 months in duration that individual might get a company to sponsor them to change there " Travelers Visa"
to a "Working Visa." Now the permission granted and change in immigrant status is all done by the "American Embassy." Moreover no company can sponsor an immigrant to gain residency directly. They can only sponsor that immigrant to work. If the sponsorship is granted by the American embassy and that immigrant works for several years which means he/she had several sponsorship renewals then that increases the chance that immigrant can gain permanent residency in this country. There is no immigration law that allows the sponsership of illegals, but only for legals.
The illegal could never be sponsored. The only way is he has to apply in his country with the letter from the sponsor, but he/she has almost a zero chance to get the visa cuz he/she broke the law, in the eyes of the INS .
Buy them some fake id. Thats the only way illegal immigrants can work. I have 2.
You can't Nah Nah
