You are correct that there are a limited number of "specialized" work visas that are offered to foreigners in particular (e.g. high tech, it) fields to work in the U.S. Last year, Bill Gates pleaded with Congress to increase the number of "software" engineers because there is a severe shortage of qualified software engineers. The number had been less than 100,000 per year but, Gates got Congress to up the number to over 110,000 per year.
As far as "recruitment" goes, you may be confusing the government visa program with private corporations that go abroad looking for highly educated personnel to fill positions in various high tech industries. The government certainly doesn't do any "recruiting" (except for the military).
To be "sponsored" for a "green card" you must contact the individual company (e.g. Microsoft) and find out what openings they have (I'm sure you can browse thousands of companies on the Net). If you have a certain job skill that they need, they will obtain the "green card" for you and take care of arrangements.
People from other countries that have special education and job skills help make America great! It's unfortunate that all of the low skilled and uneducated illegals are flooding the U.S. now. It makes it hard for the legitimate (and often needed) foreigners to work in the U.S. Our citizens forget that it is the skilled and educated 'specialists' who contribute to America's competitiveness in the global marketplace. There is no recruitment process. There is an overabundance of people to fill all available spots with no recruiting.
Recruiting for what? The military. Job corps.
Sadly, the US doesn't need to recruit anyone for immigration. Too many already want to come here and way too many are doing it illegally.
I say we hire all the legal immigrants for Border Patrol. They know the pride of coming to this country without breaking our laws to do it. They deserve praise for the sacrifices they made while immigrating legally.
And quite frankly, it ought to completely piss them off that all the illegals are giving immigration a bad name.
Wait in an undisclosed location, and the immigrant scout comes out and picks the workers he wants and takes them to the job. Almost like picking slaves.
Is not such thing...Maybeyou are trying to say legal resident Just show up at the recruitment office if you are trying to get in the army etc...Just show up to that office and you will be welcome...It will provide you with a citizenship right away...Thats what I know that when a legal resident goes to army services...

Try, applying legally to enter the United States. Perhaps you should be thinking along those lines.
Im not sure what u mean by "recruitment"... but if u want to be a legal resident, u either have to transfer her for a job (for example u work for a company and they relocate u), or u have to have a family member send for u--then u have to wait years upon years upon years, and u might be allowed to come as a permanent resident.

What do you mean by recruitment? We don't need to be recruiting anyone from another country for highly educated, and highly skilled professional white collar jobs. There are plenty of Americans who possess all of the qualities and qualifications needed to fill any position such as this. We don't need anymore people in the country to take up anymore of our jobs!!!!!!
