If he's an illegal immigrant, you got a problem. If he's a legal immigrant, you have no problem. Get married, obtain your marriage certificate. Call 1-800-375-5283 or log onto www.uscis.gov, click on permanent residence or green cards in the upper left corner of the screen. Follow the instructions, and do the necessary paperwork. He has to have his I-94 which should be in his passport. Everyone is issued one when you get processed at the airport when you come into the US. If he does not have one or lost it, he will have to complete form I-192 to replace it. All the forms you need are on the website i provided. The whole process for him to obtain his permanent status will cost you approximately $1200 to about $1400. Good Luck & Congrats
well you can get married just fine. The only cost is for the actual license, ($35 in most states) and then whatever you pay for your wedding expenses. But if he wants to become a citizen you are in for a long journey, starting with the fact that he will have to return to his country for a minimum of one year.
