I have no problems with Mexicans. I have problems with any and all illegals, It doesn't matter where they country of origin is, if they are here illegally then Yes I have a problem with them.

Like all libs, you got it all wrong. We don't want to do anything to immigrants. We only ask that they do it legally. We hate CRIME and criminals.

Well, Im not mean to Mexicans i just dont like illegals coming into America thinking they deserve everything and that they could just cross the border however way they want to. Its not right for them to come into the country and take jobs that poor American citizens might want.
oh my god...I'm so sick of hearing this...Mexicans in this country got dealt a crappy card, true. But, when you look at the history of every other ethnic group in america Mexicans have it pretty good (as far as treatment/harassment goes--payment and living conditions are another thing)...From what I've seen mexicans are either looked at with respect or envy and both of those count more than any occasional slur ever could.

I've thought the same thing many times. The only reason I can think of is that a lot of people have to hate others because of thier own frustations with themselves.
That doesn't mean you have to be in denial about the illegal immigration situation but being aware of that problem doesn't mean that you single out a single group for hating more than others (there is a serious illegal problem with Canadians and Europeans but you don't hear people complaining about them or hating them with nearly the amount of vitriol directed at Mexicans).
I think this situation is a prime opportunity for Americans to examine not only our collective and ever-growing xenophobia but also our very self-serving reasons for hating so many people just because they don't "fit in."
I have no problem with Mexicans, me being half Mexican myself. Though they have been looked at as criminals, its only because some of them have come here illegally. The media is making them look bad. They just don't want to wait billions of years until they are finally legally U.S. citizens.

Well let's see - for the most part I don't have issues or problems with any race.
I do however have a problem with ALL illegals (not just the majority of Hispanics who happen to be illegals here as well) -
I do have a problem with those legal or not who drink and drive putting others at risk (including the children and people that get into their car), drive without a license, drive without a VALID or SUSPENDED license, carry NO INSURANCE on their automobiles, Pretend not to be able to speak English - when I just heard them speak it rather well before, steal my stuff or others stuff, instead of work to buy their own, SELL dope on the streets of my neighborhood and community or use their business as a front to do so. Should I go on...?
I do NOT know what you are talking about! I do not see people being mean to Mexicans. I see people being angry and frustrated with illegal immigrants, regardless of where they come from.
Because so many are illegals .We are spending money we should be on Americans on giving welfare and medicaid and food stamps when we have legal citizens and there children starving.
I had a job working as a cook in a restaurant but lost it to a Mexican who did it for half the pay. I then got a job installing house siding but Mexicans did the work for only $7 per hour so I was let go. I then went to roofing, same thing. A friend of mine had a drywall company and trained me to do drywall. He promised to only hire Americans. He went out of business to the drywall contractors using Mexican crews working for almost minimum wage and no insurance. I applied to work at a factory near my house that was hiring entry level managers. The first question at the interview was: "Do you speak Spanish?" Then I hear people saying Mexicans only do jobs that Americans refuse to do. Well I'll do anything, but I must earn enough to feed my wife and two kids. It seems business figures out a way to make more and more occupations something only Mexicans are willing to do.
People are 'mean' to everyone.. its part of the human nature to debase another persons dignity to give themselves a feeling of superority. However, it is true that coming into this country by legal means does take a rather long time, something some people dont have, regardless of their orgin, wheather it be from aisa or latin america or anywere else. Mexico's government is as strict as ours about illegal immigration.. but something that would not be a bad idea is to spark a 'coup de tat' or an abrupt overthow of the mexican government and make it as democtratic as the United States ;-)
