What would happened to border patrols if illegal aliens would stop crossing the border?

I have friends who work as border patrols and most of them only have a highschool diploma but they have to support a family and make a living of it. If no more illegal aliens would cross the border they will loose their jobs and how they dont have many skills I guess they will have to take the jobs, of once the ilegals had, in the farms, as picking up fruits and vegetables. But I wonder if they would like to work long hours in the fields and of course how they are USA CITIZENS they will have to get pay more for that and WE, as US citizens we will have to work harder and spend more money in croseries and other goodies because nobody will work in the fields or in a company without benefics and under the minimun wage but no longer we will have to worry about any illegals coming in to the counrty. We will just have to eat less and spend less or even a better idea just grow or own vegetables and make our own cloths ...GOD BLESS AMERICA

Answer:
Will never happen
working the illegals jobs,
The border will always need border controllers....
We will always need our borders protected, so they have a job for life.
Support the Border patrol. We have armed the southern borders with national Gaurd. God Bless the Minutemen as well. If Illegals stopped coming we would need less minutemen.
I'd be willing to pay a little extra to keep criminals out ou our country.
Sad to see how you "U.S. Citizens" spend so much time worring about something like that instead of looking for something different.
Obviously, this country has had (for the past 200yrs) and will continue to have immigrants comming in. How about??
getting a degree! they even offer them online...
Try it out, it might help your financial situation. You know, while you still have a "Job".
First, I seriously doubt that you have any friends working as agents in the U.S. Border Patrol. If you did, then the first thing they'd do is tell you that border patrol is a verb or adjective, not a noun. The person you are referring to is a border patrol agent, not a border patrol.

Second, if by some reason there were a major decline in illegal entries resulting in a force reduction, there are hundreds of police departments that would love to hire former border patrol agents. The training and experience they bring would be an asset to any department.

Third, don't knock someone without a college degree so hard. You obviously don't have one by the grammar evident in your narrative. The U.S. Border Patrol elects to hire from a broad spectrum of experience, skill and education levels. The produces a more well-rounded law enforcement force. There are agents with law degrees and electrical engineering degrees (to name a few) working side by side with agents that have no degree and often for agents that don't have a degree but are highly intelligent and very skilled in their profession.
Their JOB would be a lot easier!! and until they just allow anyone in they will need border patrol!!
