I have been asked by my boss to find out about visa's in order to work in the UK, please read the further info
Answer:
Your sponsor needs to make the application, but you need to fill out some forms and attend an interview at the British embassy before your visa can be endorsed (stamped in your passport).
My advice for you is to contact the British Embassy in the USA,
if that fails, fly into Shannon airport in Ireland, and then on to Gatwick London. From there you will probably find hardly any customs or immigration because we are in the European Economic Community, hardly any checks are made on people and if you visit central mosque in Hyde Park you should be able to get any documents you require especially if you say sallam elakum.. Welcome to Great Brtain.
The UK person can sponsor you. He needs to write a letter for the British Consulate in your area stating that he wishes them to grant a visa for you to come to work in the UK for 6 months.
He can send a copy to you & thjen you take it to the British consulate with your Indian Passport.
You should not have a problem.
Alternatively the UK Boss could write to David Blunkett MP & he could pull some strings in immigration, no doubt for a small fee or railcard.
As an Indian national you require a visa to enter the UK. Approach your nearest Bristish High Commission to enquire as to which type of visa you need to apply for. You must apply for the visa yourself, supplying letters of sponsorship and other required documentation as specified by the ECO (Entry Clearance Officer).
