Why does the American left support the Mexican government's abuse of its population by supporting illegal immigration. Why do they support the Corporations that further abuse Mexicans by exploiting them for cheap labour? You would think they would push Mexico to stop their abuse of Mexican citizens human rights so they can live well in their own country! Instead the American left allows these illegal immigrants to commit crimes against the American people. I just don't see the rationale!

Haven't heard any really good answers from my fellow Democrats , & I am generally liberal on most social issues myself. BUT, this is a simple matter of adhering to immigration laws we have in place. All are welcome, under the stated rules tho.
It is somewhat ironic that if an illegal person gives birth here, the child is granted immediate citizen status. Likewise the way the rule works for folks who sneak in via water. If caught by authorities while at sea , or still in the water...even if only knee deep they are deported by law. But if they reach dry land they aren't deported right away as I understand it.
Our government needs to deal seriously w the Mexican government to address this growing issue, & take businesses of all sizes to task for violating the law as well. With no jobs the attraction might be a bit less.
