How can i apply for my husband's visa while caring full time for my disabled dad?

i am a british citizen by birth, and i am claiming carers allowance for my dad who is completely dependent on the family. i am a full time career for my dad and for that reason i can not work. How can i then apply for my husband's visa to come to uk?

Answer:
I think you can still get him marriage visa, but you have to explain that you are caring for your dad so you are not working, however once your husband gets the visa he will be able to work full time. I recomend you to contact Immigration Advisory Service, otherwise hire a lawyer for it. Good luck.
er you can't sorry, your looking after your dad. Dunno where your husband comes into it?, Please repost and use spell checking.
You are in a difficult situation. I went the other way (UK to USA) so I've never had to deal with UK immigration. However, sponsoring him to come in as your husband may prove problematic as your living expenses are currently being funded by the taxpayer. I know that is not your fault but it is not going to matter to immgration.

Is your husband highly-skilled at his job? You might look at that route. My wife is a nurse. When we looked at the possibility of my then-fiance moving from USA to UK instead of me moving, we checked into that. It was pretty much a case of "Come on over."

Sorry I can't offer much more help.
If it's like the US you have an other possibility which is to get a co-sponsor, and additional person that is officially willing to help the two of you financially so he can come.

If I were you I would check the papers you would have to fill to have him come and check if you can have someone else participate in the financial part.

Good luck
Sorry Love you can't in the UK.

You need to prove that you can support all your husbands needs without taking a penny from the tax payer for two years. You will need to submit bank statements and wage slips to prove that you have sufficient savings and a steady income.

After two years i am assuming you will apply for indefinite leave to remain. When again you will have to prove that you have been living together as a couple and intend to do so without claiming anything from the taxpayer.

Can someone else in the family take care of your father - allowing you to get a job to bring your hubby to the UK?

Good luck and hope it all works out - I know how hard it is to be where you are.
