What is the process for marrying from mexico?

my boyfriend is from mexico and i live in the US and i was wondering if anyone know what process you have to go through to bring the here leagally, and how long it takes after marrage for him to come here. please help!!

First decide where you plan to marry him.
If the marriage will take place in the USA ask for a fiance visa for him, and if you marry in Mexico ask the USA embassy in Mexico about the procedure.

File a form I-129, and all supporting documents, with the CIS. It will take between 6 months and a year for the visa to be issued if there are no problems.

You can download all the forms from the CIS website or call them and ask for the 129 and supporting documents and they'll mail them to you. You don't need an attorney to fill them out, although if you've got an extra $2,000 you'll find plenty of them willing to do everything for you.
