Why are illigeal immigrants crimminals?

I'm Mexican myself and I know the consequence of allowing this many people into our country. We wouldn't be able to sustain that many people and our quality of life would collapse, making this country exactly like Mexico. I love my comfortable American life and my parents came here legally. We need to deport the illegals before our country goes down the path of the Roman Empire.
Stop siding with illegals for racial reasons, use your brain man.

The laws making it Illegal were not in place back when the founding fathers came to America. But the laws are in place now! which makes Illegal Immigrants ILLEGAL! jeez what part of Illegal are you guys NOT grasping?
Like I said in another post..If we let Illegal immigrants get away with breaking the law we might as well release all the people sitting in jails all accross the country. Breaking the law is breaking the law.
Edit: My opinion on illegal immigrants is just that, everyone is capable of being illegal (not just mexicans, hispanics ect). The whole world has problems with illegals not just the states, just happens that the states has done so little about it for so long that now it is a huge problem.
Because a criminal is someone who breaks the law, and living here undocumented is illegal therefore they are breaking the law therefore they are criminals. We have plenty of diversity without the extra 12 million illegals being here.
The original immigrants who came here from Spain, England and other locales were not illegals because there was no immigration law back then. However, there are laws in place now in most, if not all, countries. Anyone who breaks these laws is a criminal. Plain and simple.

Oh please. This argument is getting really weak. First, Americans are against all illegal immigrants, Mexican or not. Second, don't criticize our ancestors before you think about how Mexico was taken by force from the indigenous peoples.

I think you should learn a little about history. By the time our founding fathers were born, there were "immigration" policies in just about every colony of the new world. Regardless, the world populations moved around significantly into other peoples territories over the past 2000+ yrs and so at some point you need to stop living in the past and deal with the present. We are a nation of laws and those who come here without our permission are breaking our laws which makes them criminals. On the issue of diversity I would also urge you to learn about history as no great nation/state/empire has ever survived as they became more and more diverse they split into fragments and it all starts over.
Unfortunately the stigma of illegals is on the hispanics (Mexican, Central and South Americans ), because there are some serious gang bangers and criminals. These criminal elements are the ones that need to be deported.
Thank God for folks like FordDriver who actually "get it!" I wish we would see more on here like you because we sure do see enough of pro-illegals who happen to be mexican. There is no way to prove it to some people, but if China or Russia or Iran were just south of the US, then it would STILL be the SAME issue! Why can't some understand this is NOT a culture war!!?? The founding founders were not illegal. Ever heard of Jamestown? It was settled over a hundred years before America was born.
We want secure borders and legal immigration. Plain and simple.
I do not know the circumstances of how my dad's side got here. Too far back. I think the oldest was 1592 or something. On my mother's side, my grandmother came here from Hungary in 1912. At that time my grandmother came through Ellis Island. The American government had all kinds of documentation on her, and even did a physical to make sure she had no diseases and was healthy enough to work. She learned enough English to get by on BEFORE she came here. They also asked where she was headed to and she had to provide them with an address of where she would be staying. She did not come without any money. She had been saving for a very long time, and had her nest egg with her. Her dream was to become an American. She was a chef and did not have a hard time finding work in NYC. Her loyalties were always with America, and she did not come here expecting others to learn HER native language. She learned English! She did not come here waving the flag of another country or spewing hatred for America! She loved America and was loyal to her. She became a part of the great melting pot and was proud of her sons, who served their country in World War 2. Till the day she died, "The Star Spangled Banner" brought tears to her eyes and she always said, "God bless America"! She was not a drain on the system, nor were her children! There were no social services in those days and she had to earn every penny to support herself and her family.
Why are illegals criminals? Because they come here without the consent of the American government. They do not bother getting paperwork or getting a physical to show they are not bringing in diseases. They come here and are a drain on the American taxpayer, who has to supply medical care, section 8 housing and food stamps as well as a free education. They have as many children as they can so that they will be entitled to as much social service as they can get. They usually have no skills, no education, and no resources. On top of this, they spew hatred for the country that feeds them and disloyalty to a country that allows them to live a better life then they ever were accustomed to in their native land! I say send them back, they are not the like the law abiding, skilled men and women who loved America and had something to offer of yester year. They have come to rob and plunder America and mooch off of her people, while they are professing the flag of another country! American people love the diversity of its population, we just hate lawbreakers who thumb their noses at our laws. All those that want to come should do it according to the laws of our great land or not at all! The ONLY free thing illegals should get in this country, is a free ride back to the border via military escort! Our borders need to be closed and there needs to be jail time and fines for those that rent to and hire illegals!
And the indians had to cram our kids in their schools at their expense and give our kids food stamps and aid to families with dependant children, doubtless.
