Has anyone heard of an Eritrean being granted refugee status in the US within the past two years?

If so, on what grounds was he/she/they accepted as refugees?

Answer:
Certainly. Hundreds of thousands of Eritreans were displaced by their country's war of independence that ended in June 1991, as well as by the border conflict between Ethiopia and Eritrea that ended in June 2000. On top of that, religious persecution and violent political rivalry have spurred refugee claims.
A better question probably would be:

"Has anyone ever heard of an Eritrean"?

Never heard of one...sounds like one of those tree guys from Lord of the Rings??
