Ah, only if such things were so simple. When we defeated the Mexican army, then what would we do? Of course, Mexico wants workers to come here. Money sent to Mexico from the US is second only to oil revenues in the Mexican economy. If there were not jobs for these folks, they would not come. I live 13 miles from a meat packing plant that has openings every day. Any American that can pass a drug test can do to work. This is hard physical labor at 10.00 per hour. There does not seem to be many takers on the native US side. I do believe we need a working guest worker policy.

I am torn between war and more guards. I do say of one Border Patrol agent, then yes we should go in and severely tear 'em a new one. But then again, is one life worth that? Should we wait until one agents gets killed? No we should not, I agree to place some troops to stop them and if it doesn't work or the troops lives are threatened then open up a large can of whoop a_ _. Something should be done to stop them illegals from coming into our country and making it hard for real Americans. And yes every employer who employs an illegal should be punished without discretion. Huge fine, loss of license to operate, and prison time. Someone said we should just do what was done in the 60's, armed men should sit and wait for them to swim across and blam, take 'em out. I don't agree with such extreme measures, but it is coming to that point really soon.

If you want Mexicans to enter this country, then let some do it legally, not illegally. Then tell them to behave and follow American law, then tell them to support themselves and not live off the system made for AMERICANS!!!

I don't know about Diana but I don't want to see ANYONE get hurt. He posted a ridiculous question. Yes, they should come here legally. But he's calling for a war? If he's so adamant about the border patrol, then he should be down there helping to guard it instead of complaining about the problem in cyberspace.
Why do you think Mexicans come here. Because Mexican government sucks. People should be able to be able to support their families, it's just basic survival. So we'll let cubans stay, just because their government is communist, and we will go overseas to fight an injustice. Has it ever occured to anyone, to maybe help Mexcio become a little bit stronger, so that people can actually live there, without fear of contamination, or any thingh else that might be wrong with that country.
