How do Mexican nationals REALLY feel about the US?
A distant relative of mine (like so many others) has dual citizenship(MX & US) has food stamps and gets free college tuition for her daughter. Mind you there annual income in the US is ZERO dollars since there EXTRA income is from their buisness in Mexico.
What am I to think?

I think the first answer tells you how they feel about Americans. I guess his food stamps were late this month. Hunger can make you cranky.
That is how they feel about Americans. And they get so many benefits it isn't even funny, and want more. Food stamps and owns a business in Mexico. Real poor person there. You just made one heck of a point for our side. Do you think maybe there are people in this state that could use those food stamps for real? I am farther north, but same state.
Yet because you point this out, the first thing that answered your question thinks you should be dead. And we are supposed to think things like that are civilized human beings?

You really expect them to feel anything. Well, except for the fact that they feel the U.S citizens all owe them something, and for nothing in return.
Since your family has them why don't you ask them, how would we know how they really feel about the US? I am not sure why you feel used, if they have legal citizenship here they are entitled to do what they wish, how is any different from any other citizen getting food stamps?
You should feel used. You are being used. We all are. They are very good at working the system as you just described. The area I live in is turning into a trash pit too. It's very disheartening but, you aren't alone in that feeling.
Immigration from Latin America needs to be stopped for at least 10 years so all the immigrants for them will have time to assimilate.
Thanks for sharing this. From personal experience of growing up in southern California, they are exactly as you describe, especially the illegals. They don't want to assimilate, don't appreciate or respect the U.S. and always crying "racism" whenever they don't get something. Ingrates.

Well if in fact you are of Mexican descent and know how your family came to this country, I agree with some others who said you should ask your OWN family members and not ask here. But then again, you seem to be looking for approval !
The illegals need to be sent back to that turd world country they came from before they turn the USA into one.

Truth, I think your story is fabricated, it is quite impossible that a person of means would go though all the BS that social services puts as conditions to receive food stamp.

Many foreigners take advantage of our services. I knew of an Iraqi family, their son a doctor, who come over once a year and get free health care, glasses and dental,etc. They own a hotel in Iraq and do quite well there. So Mexicans aren't the only ones abusing the system. They have medicaid cards to pay for their services. It is an insult to Americans who can't get help that really need it!
There are users and abusers of all types in the USA. Illegal aliens, in addition to being criminals, all too often fall into this category.

I'm sick of paying 30% taxes for others. I feel used too. And disrespected in the process.

Well we don't make an assumption about an entire race like you tend to do. We do not harbor any hatred towards Americans, only when we are put down like trash do we speak up and defend ourselves like you would do. Unlike the popular belief we do not come into the US to take advantage of the system. As a legal Mexican, I love this country and have only visited Mexico, but I am ashamed of my fellow man who put words and thoughts in our mouths that are untrue. My elders to do speak any harsh words towards Americans. You are to think by using your brain and not making statements about the majority of people based on the actions of a minority.
