Do you take everything for granted?

Answer:
No I do not. I was raised in a trailer in the country in south Georgia. (and it wasn't a double wide either!!!!)

Everything I have I earned. I got some good breaks, but I didn't screw them up. I worked hard. I made some mistakes as does everyone , I learned from them, and then I made mis course corrections. I didn't make the same mistakes twice. (I did make a few new ones along the way though.)

Today, I've got a great career, my health, a lovely home, a great husband. ANd I thank God everyday.
yes, especially my blackberry service
I try my best not to.
i notice the littlest things in the world, like fingers & eyes.
At my age, I take nothing for granted. I've been blessed with a woman's love and good health and I'm thankful for them both.
Yes I use to take things for granted. But that changed when my second son was born. I was support to have my son on June.23,2001 but my doctor was leaving the country to go visit his in-laws on that day. He told me that we could come into the hospital on June 14,2001 to have him induce so, I could have my son. My husband and I said"o.k. we will do that". Then my husband ask him what will happen and he told my husband, the doctor also said"that if anything goes wrong that he would do an emergency c-section. Well needles to say he lied about that. One of the nurse came in to check me and she had long finger nails and she put gloves on and checked me and as she was doing that she put a hole where my son was at in my womb. Then I started to bleed and the doctor couldn't do an emergency c-section so, he transfer me to another hospital. The doctor there was very upset with my doctor. After the c-section, the doctor came in and told me that I must have had some one look over me. He told me that I was one point from having a total blood transfusion. I don't take stuff for granted any more.
I don't think I do...But I am the type that wants as little dependence on corporation as possible to include utilities. I better be careful I might be compared to some uni bomber or something. I like to grow my own herbs and vegetables when ever possible. We sew our own clothes for the fun of it. I make my own remedies for minor illnesses. I don't have insurance, but then I don't go to the doctor every other month. I go once a year. I have heard of people that go and spend thousands of dollars a month. (I think insurance makes you sick)
It is not going to be the lower income that take things for granted. The corporate want us to think we need much more than we need and they teach us the dream is to purchase, purchase purchase.
I do not take for granted. I cannot afford to. I do not like making someone else to rich. You might be in the wrong class of people to ask if we take things for granted. Maybe not.
To be honest, I do.

Things in my life have come to me very easily and I've been privileged enough to have amazing opportunities.

But that doesn't mean I don't work hard because I do. I may have a lot but I'm not lazy.
No...not at all.
No, I don't think I ever have. I'm grateful for all of the blessings in my life.
