What are your thoughts on this ?
Answer:
I think that it is about time that something is done.
First, what the people have done is illegal. They enter illegally. There are laws against such that do need to be enforced.
Second, the very conditions that these people were living in because of their personal desire to bypass laws got them into a situation that I am sure was far from what they were wanting - and something none should be living in.
Third, the weapons recovered go to prove the falseness of the claims of many that these are all 'peace loving people just looking for a better life'.
All laws concerning any involved should be enforced to the full extent of the law. They should not be released on bail.
I think it's both sad and good - sad, because these poor people are just trying to improve their lives, but good because we *do* have laws regarding immigration.
All were being kept behind locked doors waiting for their smuggling fee's to paid is nothing short of extortion and blackmail
