For example, re-entry of a previously deported aggrivated felon alien can get "up to 5 years in federal prison." However, in reality, they usually only get 6 months.
So the "it isn't amnesty because they will have to pay UP TO $5,000" holds no water.

2008 election can change but with the hurried amnesty approach, that gives someone more votes (let's be realistic, this isn't 12 million, it's a lie to make it seem like a lower number. There is a deeper intention at work, I'm convinced. I have friends who are from other countries, are currently working in the United States, paying taxes, doing everything they should be doing and trying thier best to assimilate into our culture while still retaining the pride they have for their hometowns. And they are not "stealing jobs" from anyone. In fact, they are workings thier as*es off to help elevate thier children's futures.
I think Bush is trying to sweeten the deal for illegal immigrants living in this country in order to pave the way, so to speak. Bush's nephew is half Mexican and has been very popular with Hispanic voters. Bush in 2024 or therabouts. I can't stand to think of it, but just watch and see.

Let me get this straight, with amnesty the former illegals get a free pass on back taxes, but we are going to find a way to give them credits towards their Society Security benefits. I wish out government was as concerned about our hardships as they are the illegals. Who said crime doesn't not pay, is being made a liar with the congress and president.
