Unfortunately when someone is lonely and a woman/girl starts giving them the attention they crave so badly.They are blinded to reality.They are deluded into thinking that they are the "white" knight this poor woman's savior.Hes rescuing her from the hell she now lives in.And she will be eternally faithful to him for that.

Some of theses women are actually prostitutes in their own country and are simply using theses men to get money as well as a free pass to the US . Most are playing several men at the same time and then choose the easiest mark.

Lonely people are used as a stepping stone to getting into this country legally . Its sad yes but its the reality of the world we live in.Theses type of people disgust me.To play on the emotions of lonely unhappy people .
yup. I had a co-worker who married a girl from Russia and moved to Montana with her...a few months later, she left him alone by himself in the mountains...more so, think of the consequences he MAY have faced with possible questioning if this was set up for money....dont forget, people do it for cash also!!
Oh yeah, I thought about taking a Russian bride when I was single. They try to get you to send them cash via money order, but do not give out their phone numbers or adresses. They either stay with the guy until they get citizenship or a work visa (green card). Or they move their whole family over, sucking you dry, and then leave you when the money is gone. I have heard horror stories, including a russian mafia hit. Yeah it is a HUGE racket, don't go there.
I work in a law firm where I've seen this actually happen over and over again. Men so desperate for Love they stoop to the mail order brides from the countries you mentioned. Marry then meet up with their lesbian lover later who has also married some poor desperate man. Status of Green Card shouldn't be handed out so easily.....and with the tight security now, I think we'll be seeing it less!
That'd be fine with me. Chances are by that time, I'd have grown tired of her anyway. It's like leasing a car, when the old one gets a few miles on it you can get dump it and lease a nicer one.
If you think that your statistics in the USA are bad with the influx of Eastern Block women, then you should try a holiday in Cyprus. They are far easier to pick up, and marry until the funding is dry or someone with more comes along.They are narionalities that are employed in Escort agencies and are licenced 'ladies of the night ' they actually get visas for that!!!

Look what you said is true. There are lots of stories like the one mentioned in this post. But there are also good stories where the marriage has worked out and they have had good marriages. Like everything in life there is good and there is bad. Look at the divorce rate in America. 60%. So on the other hand you can say well the Americans seem to have problems with the institution of marriage, and they do. Lots of American citizens have made a mockery out of the institution of marriage, and there have been a lot of successful marriages also, and the divorces end in a lot of hurt and hardship on both sides. So you can see the problem with marriage not only applies to foregin ladies, but also to American citizens also. You can find a good lady from abroad, but you really have to be careful. Nothing in life is 100% foolproof.

Green card doesn't do much because it has an expiration date. So you want to go for a citizenship.
Second, if you do mail order bride and actually marry her/him, you have to be (sorry) dumb!!! Will you marry somebody you have never met before (even if they have the same passport) then expect that marriage may not work for long.

Russian girl came over to U.S. States for work, "travel" or any other reason. It means she wasn't happy at home and was looking for something better (aren't we all?) She got married pretty soon, hoping for the best. Finds out that marriage is not working out (there so many reason why and Big Number 1 is been raised in the different culture, but....it's different story... ) Back to story.. What's left for her to do? Be deported home right away. But she doesn't have anything at home anymore! Because she left, sold , quit everything there for him here! It's much harder to start ALL OVER in any other places rather than USA (yes people government spoiled you!!!) So she goes for pretending till she will be established here.... As soon she gets totally legal she runs away from her failed marriage.
