Canada has its own laws regarding employment. You will have to prove competency in areas that Canada tests. You may find work as a driver, but not necessarily HGV straight away. you will have to retest. The special needs assistant will have an easier time, so long as you have certification. Likewise, I expect there will be a period of retraining to satisfy Canadian authorities.
