Your country has always been "topsy turvy." And the reason why the banks give illegal immigrants credit cards is because they want more money through interest from their debts. Do you actually think that they will do the "right" thing? Of course not. Come to think of it, when has banks ever done the "right" thing?

Because they are using my SS# and name illegally. Yes that happened and it was in California. Or someome paid someone off with lots of cash. Who knows!
laws are way thrown off. Everyone should get a credit check, no matter who you are. If the immigrants do not have a SS # then they must be denied for credit card.

there are a lot of people who are upset about this. However as long as it's legal for an illegal to get a card, and the banks think there is money to be made, the program will continue.

You are not wrong. The government and many businesses are bending over backward to give illegals whatever they want, despite the fact it is hurting America.
But we can change this. Anyone who has a bank acct or credit card should close the acct and cancel the credit card. If they want to be the Bank of Mexico, let them move to Mexico and see how that works out for them.

In recent years, banks across the country have been offering checking accounts and even mortgages to the nation’s fast-growing ranks of undocumented immigrants, most of whom are Hispanic, the paper said, adding these immigrants generally have not been able to get major credit cards.
The new Bank of America card is open to people who lack both a Social Security number and a credit history, as long as they have held a checking account with the bank for three months without an overdraft.
