If big buisness is controlling our politicians actions on illegals ?
Answer:
VOTE for new local politians that are not "in bed" with big business, developers, etc.
We need to elect working people... and that starts on the local level.
Yes, in a word, BOYCOTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...
You, your family,friends,me, my family and friends.etc!!!!! If we ALL stick together in BOYCOTTING businesses that we know hire ILLEGALS, they will get the message LOUD and CLEAR!!!!!!
Even though ANY action at all is better than No actions at all on this front---our best case scenario here is STILL with the VOTE-- to remove the people who are facilitating this mess from the political side---even if it means removing the entire slate of "law makers" on hand !!
Boycots are almost always --- difficult to engineer and impliment---and they take literally forever to take effect and even longer to be effective !!
The vote--even though you have to actually come to the time FOR the rascals term to be up--- is usually somewhat easier to impliment and has almost an immediate effect !!!
I'm not sure to be honest. I boycott but to be honest...I'm not sure if it has a big enough impact because we're a "global economy" now. What they loose here, they make-up elsewhere. They have merged on so many different levels that boycotting one thing barely dents their pocket when they have many other areas to make-up for it. You would be surprised to know how many things there are that you would think were owned by different businesses, that are all under one company.
I still do it though, because it's the only thing I can do.
