I just don't get it. Why do the illegal immigrants (not just Mexican, of any race) even want amnesty?
Once they become citizens, the party is over. They will pay all of our taxes and still have their slave wage jobs. Worse yet, they will be fired and the next batch of illegals will replace them.
Many don't speak English, and have no intention to ever learn. How are they going to find a job that pays enough for them to survive if they have to ALL of the taxes that US citizens pay?

ok, first off, by having so many immigrants here LEGALLY, we can benefit from them by paying them little and keeping OUR business's running. secondly, the reason why we are having all these mexicans come in is because they want to come in. the rich in mexico have nothing to do with the immigrants coming here. there's no economy in mexico besides selling drugs and manufacturing cars. as far as the illegal mexicans go....they should either become legal or thrown in the ocean.

go ahead an move there, but when you get kidnapped by the locals and held for ransom on't blame us, it was your choice. do some research on the crime in mexico. Mexico city has express kidnappings, and the police there make a substanial amount of side money being corrupt. Look up michoacan and the local gangs cutting the heads off of bar patrons as a statement to local police that they run the city and always will. the country side and views are beautiful but travel to inner mexico and look real hard. What you will see is beyond what you ever imagine.
I agree with Steve's answer here. If amnesty is given, get ready for an even larger new wave of illegal immigrants to take the place of the previous ones. The "old" illegals will now be displaced in their jobs Americans won't do with the "new" illegals because the businesses won't want to pay legal wages and so the "old" illegals, now legal citizens, will be living off all the social benefits legally because they will no longer be able to (or want to) work, since they are old hands at living on next to nothing and getting welfare legally will feel like generously paid early retirement to them.
