I would not say that the criminal activity from iligal alians are the result of Americans citizens bad example, we also have to considerate that some of the people who crosess the border iligali come to tha USA, hava a criminal record on theyr country, and in some cases they come to the USA to hide from justice of they country, it does not mean they are all like that, but you can not blame the Americans to be the cause or an influens for the criminal activity from iligal alians.

I think you are taking Diaz' comments out of context, and overstating his opinion.
The fact is, american society is a negative influence, not only on mexican immigrants but on ALL immigrants. Also, I don't think Diaz was specfically blaming Americans for the criminal behavior of illegal immigrants.
