Visa in Europe?

I am 20 and I am a professional poker player from USA, I want to live in Europe for atleast 2 years, I cannot find information on getting a visa or if this would even be possible for someone with my situation. Thanks.

Answer:
It depends where you want to live. If you want to in any of the Schengen countries (Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, Italy, Greece, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain and Sweden) you will have to apply for a residency visa in the country where you plan on residing the majority of time. This nation will be responsible in issuing your visa and monitoring your presence while in the Schengen Zone. Every other country in Europe has their own immigration controls and therefore you will have to apply individually with those nations and follow their guidelines.
If you are american you don't need a visa to enter the EU but you may need a visa in certain countries if you want to live there for a longer time or apply for work, check the general EU policy at any EU nations embassy(I recommend the germans cause they are very helpful, friendly and are always up-to-date on the infos).

PS.Poker is not a crime here if that's what you mean by situation, it shouldn't give you any problems.
