How do you think removing illegals will affect the american women who have children with them?

I have had 2 children whose father is an illegal from mexico, he has never recieved any welfare benefits of any kind, has always worked and had taxes taken from his pay, He is a good man and wonderful father to our children and makes sure our needs are met and we are taken care of. If he was to be deported how do you think it would affect my children?? everyone seems to think them being here is a problem and we are all entitled to our own opinions, but I feel the reality of it is having them leave will only create bigger problems, how many american women who have their children will lose the provider for their family and be forced to go on welfare, how many young children growing up without their father will turn to drugs or crimes? How many will emotionally carry scars as a result? Do we ever as americans look at it that way to???

Answer:
everyone wants to spout off and and all that but i have tried to make my hubby legal his only crime was crossing the border illegally................. we paid out 15,000-20,000 counting traveling to juarez..........not counting the 9 months they kept him there and i lost his income also .and guess what they denied him with a 10 year ban .......... now what ? i have 2 kids to raise by him ....... if he gets caught here again he gets prison time. if i wanted to i could draw and live off the goverment jsut because. i think the ones that have been here with no criminal record and have families here such as wife and kids.......... should be made legal................ girl i knwo what you are going through. and it suck ....... if you find any new info email me at keep_it_togather@yahoo.com and email me and i will update you on things i learn cause i am not giving up also contact your congress and let them know you want a deal made before it is too late
You should have thought about that before hand...sorry for you!
While I sympathize with what you're saying, if your husband cares about this at all, he should attempt to become legal. I feel bad for your children, but I don't feel bad in general for those who choose to enter a country illegally without regard for the law. Your scenario is unfortunate, but if there aren't consequences, immigrants will continue to get away with it. I don't have a problem with immigration, but if people want to enter our country illegally, what reason is there for us to believe they will abide by any of our other laws?
The government of the day don't care as they have already branded anyone of dark skin as criminals and have got the population believing it with their lies in the newspapers and TV. In the UK they ignored the fact that one man was paid £50million while the cleaners of that company were asked to work more hours for less pay. Now they want people to go to war for them so they can live in their fancy houses.
Go with him, we did not go "hook" up with an immigrant. And from your question you did not marry him. If you did he would not be facing deportation. If you are that worried about it I am sure all the American companys moving to Mexico will help you find work.We carry enough of the worlds burrdens, its time Americans start taking care of whats in our own yards....
If he has been here long enough to father two children with you, and prove that he is a good father it sounds like he has been here more than long enough to start the naturalization process. He will have to go back to Mexico and go through Juarez I do believe, which does suck and can take some time, and it will cost money. You can do it that way, or believe it or not all military branches are offering citizenship after serving a 4 year tour. (My brother due to complexion and accent was offered this at the recruiters just last month.)

I understand that you are in a panic. But think of it this way would you rather always wonder if he got deported just because he is late coming home? Or would you prefer to make it legal? Also if you already have 2 children have you thought about marriage? Since you guys are obviously a family it wouldn't be lying or marrying for the sake of citizenship. It would be marrying to solidify your family unit.

think about it....Buena suerte.
So, with what you are saying do you think all criminals should be pardoned of their crime because they worked, have kids, and never received any Govt. assistance ? You should be asking how and what steps do you take to make your boyfriend legal. For myself they broke a law and should be in Jail, before going home. and for the employers they should also be jailed and fined, for harboring a fugitive, sorry hunni you should have thought of this before planning any children if you did so, or you should have practiced safe sex to not put yourself in this predicament.
Thats a tough question and it's like a double edged sword. It cuts both ways. Your husband sounds like a great father. Sounds like someone who would be a good American as well. However, it's not like if our borders were secure and all we had to do was grant amnesty, all would be well. There are a lot of criminal elements from many countries already in our country and thousands continue to flood our borders as we speak. What are we supposed to do? Let these elements destroy America. Then what? Our country won't be worth living in either. The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few.

I sincerely mean no offense. I just hope your really aware of what is at stake here. Our country, our way of life, our furture and the future of our children. Like I said, it's a tough question and the answer is a double edged sword. Hope you see my view too.
One question that you left out.
How many children will grow up with no respect for the laws of this country, seeing an example of their illegal parent(s) with their
negligence or disrespect for OUR laws?
Just something to think about.
If you married an illegal he can be an American. If you are just shacking up who cares? You can all go back to Mexico.
Ur trying to excuse the CRIME. Well, a thief could also say, i had to steal because i needed food to eat. A prostitute could say, i had to do it cuz i needed to pay my rent. Crime is a crime is a crime.
Have you considered getting him legally entered?

That would help.
Women [the last time I checked] were free to make their own choices. So rather than "going on welfare" emigrate to his country. There is no law that says he must remain here, rather just the opposite. If he is truly the man of your dreams and you wish to be with him, then go to his country.
if you wre inpregnated outside of the country I feel he should be allowed to come back and live with you, but if it happened when he was here illegaly then he should be deported and you should be jailed for helping an invader, i could care less what happens to the child and if more people were honest and less pc then they would say the same thing
I'm sure Mexico would allow you and your children to move there and live with him.
should of thought of that before when he gets deported go with him
You make an interesting point. Women like you, most of them anyway, know what they are getting into when they get in a relationship with an illegal alien. Its just like women who get into a relationship with a drug dealer or a robber. You know that illegal aliens have a chance of being deported, just like a woman who gets involved with a drug dealer knows that there is a chance her boyfriend could go to prison.

I agree, that it may cause emotional problems for the children, but perhaps people should think about that before they have children with criminals.

Also, what about the children of people who are losing jobs to illegal aliens? What will be the result when there is no money for these families? Will these kids also turn to drugs or crimes?
If your children's father cared about his children he'd either become legal or take you all back to Mexico. What kind of example is he setting for his children by breaking the law? What kind of example are you setting by playing the victim? You're both just perpetuating the problem through your kids.
Are you and him married? I suggest if you are to apply for citizenship. It is more likely for him to be approved since he has children here in the US and immgration takes that into conderation. Since if they did deport him you would have to apply for goverment benfits. If you are not married maybe his employer can sponsor him. I hope this helps. If you have any questions you can email me fineladysouth@yahoo.com.. I hope the best for you and your family. The law sucks right now and we have to make changes for the best!!!!!! Please email me and keep me up to date!!
There are consequences to all illegal actions. You will have to face yours. If you love him then go back to his home country with him.Raise your children there with their father.Problem solved.
Hopefully they will leave with their husbands for everyones sake
