I plan on going romania and marrying a romanian girl, is there an easy way to get a U.S. visa for her?

In september i plan on going to romania to meet a girl i've been talking to via yahoo. she is a great person, and if all goes well we will marry. but the problem is getting her a visa to come to the U.S. after we marry... is there any information i can get on the visa for her, as far as how much money it will cost, how long it will take to apply, how long will it take to get the visa, when will we know if it was approved, and if she doesn't get approved what will happen with us? applying for the visa will happen after we are married of course...

Answer:
Look if this is the plan you have decided to do. My friend what you are about to embark on is one of chance and spending a lot of money. First if you think you may be really interested in marrying this lady. Here are the steps required by the USCIS. First you must visit this lady in her country. When you go and meet her I would advise to stay at least a week. Take a camera with you and take lots of pictures. The USCIS is going to want to have proof that you visited this country. Then keep all your document such as your itinerary of your flight, hotel. The itinerary will have to match documents such as stamps in your passport and visa in your passport that may be required for Romania.

These are a few things that I know are required. There is an immigration attorney in La Jolla California called Holmes and Lolly. They are excellent and they can give you all the details and they can help you obtain a K-1 visa if you are truly serious, and you make sure this lady is serious also. When you visit her listen to your innervoice and make sure that this lady is sincere. There have been so many scams with foreign ladies. Here is the site for Holmes and Lolly in La Jolla California. Please call these people. Telephone calls and advice from them is free.

You must pose the question directly to an Immigration official. All else would be erroneous.
Keep in mind that Rumania just entered the European Union and as such it should be easier getting a visa than somebody, say from the Ukraine.
I live in Romania(expatriate-EU citizen)and I know Romanian females even from my company who have applied for a USA visa
without success-it is very difficult-the main assumption in your embassy here is that they want to work there and anything else is fabrication,so I suggest you contact your embassy here(Bucharest) direct and asked them what would be required for her application to be accepted-don't,I repeat don,t ask the Romanian girl to pose the question to your embassy, you do it yourself-and do it from there not here..The embassy here is your best bet unless you have easy access to the State Department there and in such a case they will facilitate you with all details needed.Don,t get married before you secure the requirements for
a valid visa...
DON'T DO IT ! I know it sounds crazy, but if u don't take my advice, u will live to regret it soon. I worked in Romania & Russia for few years(my company send me there). I know a great deal about Romania & its people, especially girls. Have u heard the phrase " Till death do us apart "? Well to the Romanians & Russian girls it is, " Till i get my Green Card ". They are GOOD at playing the love game on Western men,but once they get there papers, u will get dumped. TRUST ME ON THIS ONE ! She might even take half ur assets in the divorce. Ask the Immigration Office about marrying a Romanian or a Russian girl. They will tell u 90% u will get dumped. I have known German men, Italians, Greeks, Americans, British..etc that married Russians & Romanian girls & lived to regret it. They are natural born liars & cheaters. If u still chose to marry, PLEASE protect yourself. One day u will come to thank me.
1-before asking any question tell us what's your case and status case? for example:where you are from? where do you live? where is your born place? if you are citizen or permanent or other tell us spicify about that.and than,
2- tell us about what kind of visa for example:Residences visa,Immigant Visa, buisiness visa, student visa, and many others.
you can find lots of useful and relevant information at the uscis webpage, you can also find in the FAQ how do I bring my spouse etc....
http://www.uscis.gov
you can find all the forms that is required and you can download them.
For Cappuccino's answer: just think about it ... have you ever heard about a US citizen girl married a US citizen boy and divorced? Right, many and many. So it can happen to you that she wants to marry you only for the green card, and also can happen that she will be a good wife. Don't forget that women form the eastern/middle european counries are hard working because they are not that rich so they got used to hard life. Before you get married, make a contract on the private properties.
