Get married within 90 days and file immediately. It's the marriage date they'll be checking. Still, there's no excuse to wait months to file after your married.
What is that a mail order bride visa? Yea I think it is; why else would you need a special marriage visa called K3, let me guess you could not find a wife here so you pandered and found an add in a adult magazine!
I do not think you have to adjust status at all. K-1 is for fiancee and K-3 is married couple who is already approved as restricted permanent resident. I am pretty sure that you will receive restricted permanent residency in the mail from Immigration.
