17yrs Old and I have an Immigration Interview Next Week. Please Help Me?
Answer:
Since you have only known life in the USA , that is all you can tell them. You never had a life anywhere else so there are no lies to tell. All you can do is tell the truth and since you've been here all your life - 3 months, there can't be anything that can get you in trouble.
I don't know why the interview has taken so long but you speak English so you don't really need an interpreter.
It really boils down to how the bureaucracy will roll at this time. They could be hard assses & say leave but I would just try to point out you've been here forever and are good, law abiding citizens.
You really should have asked these questions a very long time ago , waiting until the 11th hour was not wise.
Our prayers are with you tho . . .
Yeah bring an interpreter an let him answer the fugging questions
that's racist....u been here all Ur life and now u have an interview to see if Ur gonna be a permanent resident ?i would execute them in an old fashion way
You can find a good example on http://www.geocities.com/citizenshiptest...
You'd better call in advance for an interperter because I'm not certain they will let his son translate. They will probably be asking history and government questions that are fairly easy if you have studied. I would suggest brushing him up. If it is your dad that is filing for citizenship, they may want him in there alone with the interpertor. I don't think they would privy in case you passed him the answers while asking the question.
Good luck, kiddo.
Don't sweat it, it's just part of the usual routine process before they rubber stamp the approval.
Have a nice evening!
I truly love hearing an intelligent question like yours. Not sure about the law on his one. I would recommend contacting i.n.s. to make sure. Good luck!!!. What military service are you considering??Have a great time either way
