Does anyone think the Minute Men are criminals?
I also don't thumbs down answers if they are respectful and don't call me or anyone names.I like adult conversations and polite debate.How else will we learn?

I have never heard of any criminal acts done by minutemen.But who is to say, they do not.I have read of Border Agents actually killing some illegals.They were brought to justice by the govt. I do know when they came to my border city, our mayor, city counsel and border patrol asked them to leave...I suppose some say I live in a sanctuary city.The city didn't see the need to have such groups here, they felt the border patrol was doing a sufficient job.Another thing I would like to point out is, that these people are coming in illegally, they are afraid to report any crimes against them, so this is a consideration to be taken, the minutemen are aware of this, so it makes me wonder if any crimes were ever committed, they would actually report it.Take it for what its worth...

No, unless individuals amongst them commit crimes, clearly they are not criminals.

ok, input. Look at their web page, go to 'volunteer'. You will see that amongst other things you have to send $50 for a background check to make sure you aren't in any hate groups.
Do you think La Raza does that? While funding MEChA?
I used to keep waiting for the other shoe to drop, and for one of their groups to do something horrible, but it just doesn't seem to be happening.
I don't like La Raza or Minute Men. I do think both of them are a bit off when it comes to what they believe.

I don't think they have committed any crimes. We allow protests in this country and as far as I see it...they are protesting against people sneaking across our borders illegally.

What crime has the minute men committed? All they do is watch the border and report the invaders to the Border Patrol.

However, the minute men r common every day folk who, (to the best of my knowledge) have not committed any crimes. (define crimes?) If reporting drug smugglers, potential terrorists, and illegal aliens is a crime - then I guess you'd have to call me a criminal as well. Is it also a 'crime' to report people who break into ur house?
The minute men are doing what our elected officials so cowardly do not - that is - help protect America from an invasion to the south.
The minute do not 'just arrest Mexicans' - they report ALL illegal aliens. If most of the illegal aliens happen to be Mexican -it's not the minute men's problem.

No. Now, why would they be criminals? Please, try reading The Constitution. Pay particular attention to the first 10 amendments. They're called The Bill of Rights.
La Raza (The Race), although having more in common with the Ku Klux Klan (For the race everything, for others, nothing.), is also not an illegal organization and the members are not criminals. It's perfectly legal to be a racist in this country. Again, check The Bill of Rights if you don't believe me.
