My gf is japanese and is having my baby however, its really hard for us to get her a visa for the uk?

should she just come here on a tourist visa and have the baby. what does that make the baby if she does. i want the baby to have uk and japanese passports can the baby if its born on a tourist visa. t

Answer:
Japanese citizens do not need a visa to enter the UK for a holiday. The main problems are; Will an airline fly her if she's pregnant? How will she pay for her health care? (she's not entilted to NHS treatment)
The baby being born here will not entitle her to residency and the baby will not automatically become a UK citizen. Your gf will probably have to leave the UK after 6 months.
The only way she can come to the UK and stay is as a spouse or finacee. She can't marry you in the UK on a tourist visa.
The only thing I can suggest is you go to Japan, register your marriage there and then apply for a visa for her. You still can't guarantee getting a visa even if you're married.
Good luck, but I suggest you do everything through the proper channels and I wouldn't risk the health of your gf and your unborn child.
You must be joking. Who will give a pregnant woman a visa? And for such a long time (I assume you meant the one by invitation, for six months?). A single pregnant woman is invited for 6 month to the UK by a single man! Where are her ties to the motherland?
If you want your baby to have a passport, marry her and bring her in on a spouse visa. The other way is for you to travel to Japan, to recognize the child as your own accordingly to Japanese laws and then register the fact with the British embassy.
Hiya, I married an Albanian last year, mainly so he could stay with me. The best thing to do is marry her, stupid I know as having your child gives her a much greater tie to you then just marriage, but that's the way it is.
Where is your girlfriend now?

If she is in Japan she should apply for a marriage visa at the British Diplomatic post which will allow her to enter the UK and marry you. Once you are married you apply for a spouse visa at the Home Office.

If she is in the UK then your options are far more limited. You cannot get married at a registry office if you are on a tourist visa. So she should return to Japan and apply for the marriage visa.

Alternatively you can get married in Japan (I don't know what the rules are though) then apply for a spouse visa there.

If your gf is in the UK and too pregnant to travel then apply for a medical treatment visa or a visitor visa extension.

In terms of getting UK and Japanese citizenship - no matter where it is born it will be able to obtain British Citizenship (as long as you are a British Citizen by birth). Japanese Citizenship is a lot more complicated and I suggest you seek proper advice in this regard.
get marry in her country than you can get wife visa its much more easier.. your baby will be british citizen anyway coz you are uk citizen.yes its true.my cousin married to a british man they married in her country they got 2 children both born in her country, not in uk but they both got british passports.
