As long as the paper are right in place. It is very straight forward...but usually it expected you get a marriage visa before coming to the UK.
I dont know how long it takes to get a fiance visa for the UK but I do know how it took me to get a fiance visa for the US (7months) I was British citizen then and my fiancee is American!

not sure but its taking me ages my gf is japanese and its looking like were not going to get one and my gf is having my baby. shame on this country they say they want the best intrest for the baby i am sure that is not keeping the mum and dad away from each other.
