What's a z-visa?
Answer:
A Z visa means that they get a slap on the wrist, a fine, the head of the household would have to go home after 8 years and reapply legally and then be granted citizenship. I think that its a load of crap! It's rewarding people who cut in line and act like the law doesn't apply to them.
Horsecrap from Bush, Isakson, and Teddy Kennedy.
"Z-visa" is the name given to the kind of status that the current illegals will be given under the new immigration bill being decided on. The bill is unclear as to what kind of rights this give them, but it's not the same thing as a green card apparently. They will have the right to work, obviously, but in order to eventually get a green card they will have to pay $5000 first, then they will have to go home and come back and pay another $4000 to qualify for full citizenship. Basically, the Z-visa lets them stay and work as long as they are in good standing, and gives them "probationary benefits" whatever that means. We aren't clear about what those are, but it can't be more than what they've already got, so basically it just makes them official "non-illegal aliens." (This is not the same as a guest worker which is under the Title for Y-visa).
That is so they can go to z-school, and z-work,and get z-benefits,,,,
'Z' stands for zero. As in it requires zero of the person being granted amnesty.
Should really be called an A-VIsa. A as in amnesty.
