How could illegal aliens think they have any right to be in the US?

Illegal aliens come up with all sorts of excuses why they have a right to be in the United States. Why they are special and should go to the front of the line in front of people trying to get in the country legally. They blame it on employers, our laws, past history, governments. Nothing tied them up and dragged them here. What makes any illegal alien think they have any right to even be here?

Answer:
The problem is, people go spewing the word "rights" around the world, and people think that once they hit American shores, they're entitled to the same rights as natural born, or naturalized Americans.

Ever hear the liberal lawyers squawking about how the captured terrorists are entitled to "rights" shared by American citizens? Hogwash! If Americans had been captured on their soil, they'd have been tortured and executed! Only Americans give their captured terrorists "culturally correct" foods and access to attorneys!

Mexicans come here thinking they are entitled to unemployment benefits, without ever contributing one legal dime into the system. And the government gives it to them. IF they want welfare benefits, the government gives it to them. If an American needs it, they're generally denied it.

No one but Americans ought to have the rights and benefits of an American citizen. And although I feel for the Mexican people who are only trying to leave a bad place and get jobs to support their families, they need to obtain citizenship legally.
What constitutes being an illegal alien? Remember that you did not choose where to be born. Everyone in the U.S. sometime, somehow in their history crossed the mighty waters to get into the continent. No laws on immigration back then; no laws to bring to justice those who have butchered (yes, literally butchered) many resident Native Americans, whose land are now reduced to reserves. We have it nice here, though we do have our own problems, they're not as bad as what some parts of the world experience. If you are desperately in need of help, you would look up to the ones who care for you - your parents, for instance; or to a prayer, whichever you find comfort and security. The U.S. is loved. You are so smart and confident, why do you let this issue affect you when you are the least affected? The "Illegals", what? What makes an American? Not your birth certificate or your social security card. It is more than that. If you were born at this time in Iraq, am sure you would be on the next plane to where of all places -- of course, here in the U.S. And if you deny it, you are lying for the sake of not admitting it that I could be right. If say, you didn't want to leave Iraq and decided to stay, you stayed because you believe that you can make a difference there... Well, who's making the difference there right now but the U.S. Anyone who came here want to make it here and it is really non of your business especially if what you really should be concerned is more knowledge, to have your own stand on issues other than what the USCIS (Immigration) label or categorize some people. Someday we might lose our beautiful land, you'll never know if you would cross the border to Mexico, eh? Or maybe Canada? I tell you, Canada ought to make crossing into their borders more difficult, maybe build a wall and send out thousands of troops to patrol their area :) Oh, one more thing... I think if our President wants to go to war, he should set an example and be the first on the frontline. Hey, if he thinks he's right, he should have action with passion. Not many of us are thrilled of his ideas, so we don't want war. You'll never know who cooked the food you fed yourself tonight, quite a scope of nationality involved in this matter :) Anyway...I am ready for more insights.
The existing "guest worker" program is a savage and doomed "approach" to community development. Those who subscribe to this savage paradigm criminally invite and hire and allow undocumented Mexican labor to come work and live in their communities in order to avoid paying Americans a legal and decent wage. They pay these guest workers poverty wages, making their families suffer added hardship as they struggle to rise, which is why they come to American communities . . .to rise. THEN, they deny the children of those workers equal access to an education. They discriminate vulgarly against these families who are a part of their communities and have been a part of their communities for generations. They foil every single effort to empower them and help them transition into a new culture. Then, later, as their communities begin to fail and collapse under the stupidity and incompetence of intolerance and morally corrupt social "planning", the best that their diseased and doomed paradigm can do for them to "fix" the subsequent problems is to take Mexicans out into the desert and shoot them. Communities that rose above such savagery, though, that more wisely addressed their communities realities and that more ethically treated fellow human beings, they are NOT suffering collapse. Common sense, common decency and goodness always wins in the end. Ignorance, intolerance and discrimination always leads to failure. Always. We are becoming globally connected. And, we are bumping into more and more people who are not like us, who do not speak our language, who do not share our spiritual beliefs, who are culturally and racially different than us. Adaptation and survival in the global economy requires pluralistic planning and adjustments in our communities and within ourselves, not vicious savagery of discrimination and selfish exclusion of segments of humans and their children from our schools and benefits of our societies. Tolerance and wisdom is necessary for us all to continue to prosper and enjoy our lives, especially when we bring such problems upon ourselves and our communities.
because in the past illegals got amnesty and now they are demanding another amnesty. The government gives rights to illegals more rights than a legal resident.
excuse me but illegals, do not think this is their country!
first of all, because they are aware that they are here illegaly,
I, myself come from a mexican family who got to this country illigaly and my parents never told me that this was my country!
My folks always WORKED to get me what i needed, and we were always aware that we came from another country.
all my life i always lived better than my american friends, and even though they had parents who were citizens and had ssn,my dad had his own company!
so its not that we come here to take anything from anybody, we have our minds set up to be the best we can for our families!
thank u and i hope I didnt disrespect anyone with my comment.
illegal immigrants come here for the same reason legal immigrants and all the immigrants of past generations came here for; better lives. they didnt go to the front of the line, they skipped the line altogether. Why? because you have to stand in line for years. why stand in line when you can jump the counter for a fee? the coyotes who help illegals cross the border are taking advantage of a business opportunity created by greater forces. immigration policy along with poverty and other economic factors created the demand the for the coyotes services. Illegal immigrants arent on vacation here.
