How long does it take normally for a immigrant man in USA to get united with his newly married wife ?
Answer:
For a Green Card holder to bring a wife to the United States it will take about 5 years before a visa becomes available.
I think a lot depends on how much he paid for her in the first place.

I am an american young woman. I had filed all the necessary paperwork myself to get my british husband to come to the states to live with me. We have been waiting, and waiting without any resolution. It has been a full year. There is a way with paperwork, k3 visa. Yes, that is the fiance visa paperwork, but it is also a new amendment to make things faster, so they say, they actually LOST our k3 application.
Go online to any govt website, like the one listed below will help you file these papers to speed up the process. What will happen is, he would be able to come into the counrty, but he won't have a work permit right away. He would have to file for that when he arrives in the USA.
I ended up moving to England instead...and VERY EASILY!
My answer, and very best answer to you is, spend the extra money and get an immigration lawyer. You can find them online. It will cost you $1, 500-$3,000, but, if you are desparate for him to be with you....it is WORTH IT! You pay online, they ask for the documents they need, the file all the papers, and you will have your result faster then people who do it by themselves.
