Many of them work for private citizens and small businesses that pay them under the table.
Ask Tysons, Cargill, Obviously Swift, Con Agra, Rose Acre farms. You know companies like these. That think they fall under some agricultural bullshit clause. And i do believe somebody earlier asked if maybe we should put the USDA in charge of our government. LOL!!! Ah no. However i'm willing to bet the farm(so to speak) that Bill and Hillary Clinton can give you some really good insight into this.

Because they are criminally invited and hired by U.S. employers in order to avoid paying U.S. citizens a legal and decent wage. That Republican/Conservative "guest worker" program was tolerated because it made U.S. people money. "Don't rock the boat, baby", has been their motto, and, if anyone brought up the issue of the potential problems of a discriminated against, reduced, poverty-wages paid growing segment of our communities, the Republicans/Conservatives profiting from this illegal labor would hiss like geese and say, "Bleeding heart liberals are trying to DESTROY this nation!" LOL. Morons.
Yeah i know a few manufacturing plants down here(Cinram) that hire illegals and they have for years.
I am not sure, but I know many major corporations also hire illegals. Quite a few use fake social security numbers. They make sure to claim 9 or less dependents on their W-4s so that the feds are not notified and they don't file their income taxes. I love how people say that most work for less than min. wage, which quite a few probably do, and those are the ones likely working under the table, not paying anything in taxes and are on welfare since they have no proof of income.
They get false documents and then apply for a job and the employers think they are legals. Of course, there are employers who knowingly hire illegals. My friend has no papers and she works in a restaurant as a dishwasher, another works in a dry clean store attending people her husband works in a factory with false papers. There are thousands of examples.
